Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup bulgur, uncooked (cracked wheat)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup chopped dried fig
- 1/4 cup chopped dried apricot
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 2 tablespoons pine nuts
Recipe
- 1 in a medium saucepan, combine water, orange juice, and sugar.
- 2 bring to a boil over medium heat.
- 3 add bulgur, reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and cook 15 minutes.
- 4 remove saucepan from heat and stir in vanilla and cinnamon. then add remaining ingredients, mixing well.
- 5 serve right away for best flavor and texture.
