Ingredients
- 4 cups rhubarb, sliced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup water
- 3 cups strawberries, hulled and halved
- 1/2 vanilla bean
Recipe
- 1 put the rhubarb in a saucepan, and add the vanilla bean, sugar and water.
- 2 bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat and let it simmer for about five minutes.
- 3 add the strawberries and cook just until they soften and break down a bit.
