Lawrys Creamed Spinach

Ingredients

- 6 slices bacon, finely chopped
- 1 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons season salt (lawrys preferred)
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoned pepper (lawrys preferred)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon parsley
- 1 3/4 cups milk
- 2 (10 ounce) packages frozen spinach, cooked and drained
Recipe
- 1 in a medium skillet, cook bacon until almost crisp.
- 2 add onion to bacon and cook until onion is tender about 10 minutes.
- 3 remove from heat.
- 4 add flour and seasonings; blend well.
- 5 gradually stir in milk; cook and stir over low heat until thickened.
- 6 add spinach and mix well.
- 7 if too thick add more milk.
