Russian Gingered Carrots

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1 lb carrot
- 2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons dried marjoram
Recipe
- 1 peel carrots (if desired,) and slice into rounds, about the size of a quarter.
- 2 combine ginger and sugar, and toss with carrots in bowl.
- 3 let stand 20 minutes.
- 4 drain in a sieve.
- 5 melt butter in skillet.
- 6 add carrots, pinch of salt and marjoram leaves.
- 7 stir and saute over medium heat until carrots are done.
