- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon coarse salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 lb fresh asparagus spear, trimmed
Recipe
- 1 melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- 2 stir in the olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- 3 cook garlic in butter for a minute, but do not brown.
