Smashed Potato Patties

Ingredients
- Servings: 5
- 10 small potatoes (golf ball size, or smaller)
- 2 tablespoons oil or 2 tablespoons butter
Recipe
- 1 i like little yukon golds (skins on).
- 2 wash the potatoes and put them in a bowl and microwave them till done. careful they get hot!
- 3 take them one at a time and smoosh them till they are about a half an inch thick. i use two small wooden cutting boards for this.
- 4 use a spatula and transfer them into a hot skillet sizzling with a little butter or oil or a combination of both.
- 5 sprinkle with desired spices, salt, pepper, garlic, curry powder -- etc. and brown on both sides.
