Ginger Tea Sauce

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags
  • 2 garlic cloves, cut in half
  • 1/2 small onion, chopped
  • 6 peppercorns
  • 1 inch fresh ginger

Recipe

  • 1 remove the strings form the bags, or use loose tea in cheese cloth.
  • 2 place all ingredients in a small sauce pan. bring to a boil.
  • 3 reduce heat. simmer 15 minutes.
  • 4 strain.
  • 5 allow to cool.
