Ingredients
- 1/2 lb lean bulk sausage
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/3 cup flour
- 3 1/4 cups milk
- salt and pepper, to taste
Recipe
- 1 brown sausage until it crumbles in a large skillet. drain and set aside.
- 2 melt butter and stir in flour.
- 3 gradually add milk and stir constantly as you bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
- 4 when mixture is thickened, add sausage and salt and pepper to taste.
- 5 cook until heated through and serve over split biscuits.
