Raspberry Rhubarb Sauce

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups sliced rhubarb (fresh or frozen)
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 lemon, juice and zest of
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups raspberries (fresh or previously frozen, unsweetened)

Recipe

  • 1 combine rhubarb, water, sugar& rind in a saucepan& bring to a boil over medium heat.
  • 2 reduce heat& simmer until rhubarb is tender, 10 to 15 minutes.
  • 3 remove from heat, stir in remaining ingredients& let cool.
