Maple Nut Pie

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 (16 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup finely-chopped pecans
  • 1/2 teaspoon maple extract
  • 1 baked 8 inch pie shell
  • whipped cream
  • additional chopped pecans, toasted

Recipe

  • 1 bring milk and syrup to gently boil in medium saucepan over medium heat.
  • 2 cook until thick, stirring frequently.
  • 3 mix in ½ cup pecans and extract.
  • 4 pour into baked crust.
  • 5 cool completely.
  • 6 refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • 7 spoon whipped cream over top of pie, sprinkle with pecans.
