Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups boiling water
- 2 (4 ounce) packages jello gelatin, any flavor
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 (6 ounce) graham cracker crust
- 1 (8 ounce) container cool whip, thawed, divided
- ice cube
Recipe
- 1 stir boiling water into gelatin in a large bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved.
- 2 add enough ice cubes to cold water to measure 1 1/2 cups. add to gelatin.
- 3 stir until ice is completely melted.
- 4 remove 2 cups of gelatin; place in a small bowl.
- 5 refrigerate 5 minutes or until gelatin is the consistency of unbeaten egg whites.
- 6 carefully spoon into crust. refrigerate 10 minutes.
- 7 meanwhile, add 2 cups of the whipped topping to remaining gelatin; stir with wire whisk until well blended.
- 8 refrigerate 10 minutes or until mix is thick and will mound.
- 9 carefully spoon over gelatin layer in crust.
- 10 refrigerate at least 3 hours or until firm.
- 11 serve with remaining whipped topping. store leftovers in refrigerator.
