Pat's Best-ever Carrots

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 lb carrot
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • grated peel of one orange (or to taste)
  • 1 (8 1/4 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained

Recipe

  • 1 cut the carrots into strips. cook in a small amount of water in a saucepan until tender-crisp. combine the brown sugar, butter, orange peel, and pineapple in a skillet. bring to a boil. add the carrots, stirring until glazed.
