Ingredients
- 1 lb carrot
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 3 tablespoons butter
- grated peel of one orange (or to taste)
- 1 (8 1/4 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
Recipe
- 1 cut the carrots into strips. cook in a small amount of water in a saucepan until tender-crisp. combine the brown sugar, butter, orange peel, and pineapple in a skillet. bring to a boil. add the carrots, stirring until glazed.
