Lemon Sauce

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 lemon, zest of
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 3 teaspoons cornstarch, heaping

Recipe

  • 1 mix cornstarch with a little water for thickening agent.
  • 2 boil water and sugar 5 minutes, add cornstarch mixture.
  • 3 cook 8 to 10 minutes, add lemon, zest and butter.
  • 4 stir until butter melts.
  • 5 serve at once.
