Mulled Tea

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1/4 teaspoon whole cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 5 teaspoons earl gray tea leaves, loose
  • 6 teaspoons honey

Recipe

  • 1 in a large saucepan, bring water, cloves, allspice and cinnamon stick to boil over high heat.
  • 2 add tea leaves to hop spice mixture.
  • 3 cover and steep for 5 minutes.
  • 4 pour tea through strainer into mugs.
  • 5 stir 1-1/2 teaspoon of honey into each mug.
