Sauteed Apple Rings

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 3 large apples
  • 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • walnuts (optional) or pecans (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 peel, core and slice each apple into 4 large 1/2 inch rings.
  • 2 heat butter in medium skillet on medium heat, stir in sugar and cinnamon,.
  • 3 add apple rings to skillet and toss gently to coat. cover and cook on low heat 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. sprinkle with chopped walnuts or pecans, if desired, serve warm.
