Dorothy's Spiced Cranberries

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup red vinegar
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 3/4 teaspoon whole cloves
  • 4 cups cranberries (fresh or frozen)

Recipe

  • 1 combine sugar, vinegar, cinnamon stick, and cloves in a large saucepan.
  • 2 bring to a boil.
  • 3 add berries and cook slowly without stirring until all skins pop open.
  • 4 pour into warm sterile jars and seal.
  • 5 note: chill before serving. at serving time, spoon these delicious cranberries into a serving dish.
