Dutch Crumb Squares

Ingredients

- 2 1/2 cups cake flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup raisins
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 pinch ground cinnamon
Recipe
- 1 sift together flour, baking soda and salt.
- 2 beat butter and sudar until creamy.
- 3 gradually add the flour mixture.
- 4 set aside 3/4 cup of the mixture.
- 5 to remaining mixture, add raisins, edd and milk.
- 6 blend well.
- 7 spread into a lightly greased 8-inch square baking pan.
- 8 sprinkle reserved mixture overtop.
- 9 sprinkle with cinamon and sugar.
- 10 bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
