Dutch Noodles

Ingredients

- 1 lb bacon
- 1 lb flat noodles, cooked
- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen spinach
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1/2 cup butter (the real thing)
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese
- salt and black pepper
- cayenne pepper
Recipe
- 1 cook bacon until crisp then crumble and set aside.
- 2 thaw frozen spinach and squeeze out water.
- 3 melt butter in large saucepan.
- 4 add spinach and garlic and saute 3-5 minutes on medium heat.
- 5 in saucepan combine all remaining ingredients and heat over low heat for five minutes.
- 6 pour over noodles, add bacon and toss gently.
