Dutch Noodles

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 lb bacon
  • 1 lb flat noodles, cooked
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen spinach
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup butter (the real thing)
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • salt and black pepper
  • cayenne pepper

Recipe

  • 1 cook bacon until crisp then crumble and set aside.
  • 2 thaw frozen spinach and squeeze out water.
  • 3 melt butter in large saucepan.
  • 4 add spinach and garlic and saute 3-5 minutes on medium heat.
  • 5 in saucepan combine all remaining ingredients and heat over low heat for five minutes.
  • 6 pour over noodles, add bacon and toss gently.
