Dill Pickles

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 21 cups water
  • 1 cup pickling salt
  • 3 cups vinegar
  • 2 cups sugar
  • cucumber
  • dill
  • garlic
  • carrot

Recipe

  • 1 boil water, vinegar,sugar, and salt.
  • 2 fill each jar with cucumbers, allowing some carrot sticks, garlic and dill at the bottom and on top.
  • 3 pour boiling syrup over cucumbers and seal.
  • 4 put filled jars in a canner of very hot water, until they start to turn colour.
  • 5 approximately 20-30 minute.
