Dishwasher Salmon Steaks

Total Time: 1 hr 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • 4 -6 serving size salmon steaks
  • 4 -6 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 2 lemons
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 dash pepper
  • aluminum foil

Recipe

  • 1 ensure that your diswasher is empty, including any drying agent that you may have filled it with.
  • 2 rinse and pat dry your salmon steaks. 1 per person is plenty.
  • 3 place each steak separately on a piece of aluminum foil, large enough to wrap around the steak (but don't wrap it up quite yet).
  • 4 cut the lemons in half and juice them. pour juice over each steak.
  • 5 season each steak to taste with the salt & pepper and place a sprig of thyme on top.
  • 6 wrap up the steak with the aluminum foil, being sure to cover it completely.
  • 7 place steaks on the top rack of the dishwasher and start it, with the heated dry cycle on.
  • 8 when dishwasher stops, the steaks are done to perfection. enjoy!
