Dot's Corn Muffins

Total Time: 33 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 18 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornmeal
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup sour cream

Recipe

  • 1 in a bowl, combine the flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking soda and salt.
  • 2 in another bowl, beat egg and sour cream; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.
  • 3 fill greased muffin cups two-thirds full.
  • 4 bake at 400° for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • 5 cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack.
