Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 3 large potatoes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- oil (for deep frying)
Recipe
- 1 peel potatoes and cut into french fry strips.
- 2 drop into a bowl covered with water in which the salt has been added.
- 3 drain and pat dry.
- 4 heat oil to 400*.
- 5 fry the potato strips for 1 minute (do this in batches if necessary).
- 6 drain on paper towels.
- 7 cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
- 8 to finish, fry the potatoes an additional 2-3 minutes at 400*, until golden.
