Dk's Stuffed Green Peppers

Ingredients

- 4 bell peppers
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 2 cups chopped kale
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 (16 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 (4 ounce) can tomato sauce
Recipe
- 1 cut tops from peppers.
- 2 rinse peppers and submerge in boiling water for 5 minutes. drain. sprinkle the inside with salt.
- 3 chop reserved pepper tops and saute with the ground beef. add chopped onion and kale. cook until beef is well done.
- 4 stir in tomatoes, oregano, salt, basil and worcheshire sauce.
- 5 simmer 10 minutes.
- 6 place peppers in greased 8"x8" dish. spoon filling evenly into peppers. pour tomato sauce over peppers. cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
