Dill Pickles-(one Jar At A Time)

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 heads dill, per quart
  • 1 -2 garlic clove, per quart
  • 10 -12 pickling cucumbers
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons salt (pickling)

Recipe

  • 1 place heads of dill and garlic in hot sterilized quart jar. fill with small cucumbers to within 1 inch of top.
  • 2 brine: combine water, venegar and salt in saucepan.
  • 3 bring to a boil.
  • 4 pour over cucumbers to within 1/4 inch of top with boiling vinegar.
  • 5 seal.
  • 6 makes one quart.
