Pineapple Raisin Sauce

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 4 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh lemon rind
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 crushed pineapple
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 2 -3 teaspoons cornstarch, mixed with a about 2 tbsp water

Recipe

  • 1 in a bowl,mix together the sugar, mustard and flour.
  • 2 in a saucepan, mix the remaining ingredients, then add the dry ingredients to the pan.
  • 3 bring to a boil, cook on a low boil for about 5-10 minutes.
  • 4 add the cornstarch-water mixture,and cook a few minutes more, until thickened.
