Dill Potato Cakes

Ingredients
- 2 cups self rising flour
- 3 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh dill
- 1 cup mashed potatoes, freshy made
- 2 -3 tablespoons milk, as required
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- 2 sift flour into a bowl, and add the butter, salt and dill.
- 3 mix in the mashed potato and enough milk to make a soft, pliable dough.
- 4 roll out the dough on s well floured surface until it is fairly thin.
- 5 cut into several neat rounds with a 3 inch round cutter.
- 6 grease cookie sheet, place cakes on it and bake for 20-25 minutes until risen and golden.
