Dilled Carrots

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 lbs baby carrots
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 2 tsps dried)
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 cook carrots in water in a covered skillet until barely tender. salt and pepper to taste.
  • 2 uncover and add sugar, orange juice and butter. add dill.
  • 3 cook over high heat until most of the water has evaporated and carrots are lightly glazed. taste for seasoning.
