Miss Mary Bobo's Tennessee Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients

• 1 medium onion, finely chopped
• 1 clove garlic, minced
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
• 1 1/2 cups ketchup
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
• 2 tablespoons jack daniel whiskey
• 2 1/2 tablespoons cider vinegar
• 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
• 2 drops hot sauce

Recipe

• 1 saute onion and garlic in vegetable until tender.
• 2 stir in remaning ingredients and bring to a boil over medium heat.
• 3 reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
