Pineapple Tarts

Total Time: 27 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 12 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb butter
  • 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup pineapple preserves
  • 1 egg , beaten

Recipe

  • 1 cream the butter and cream cheese together; then add the salt and flour; mix with a fork.
  • 2 make into 8 balls and refrigerate overnight.
  • 3 roll out and cut into circle with a saucer.
  • 4 fill with 1 tablespoons pineapple preserves; fold over in half. brush with a beaten egg .
  • 5 bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
  • 6 sprinkle with powered sugar, if desired.
