Pineapple Tarts

Ingredients
- 1/4 lb butter
- 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup pineapple preserves
- 1 egg , beaten
Recipe
- 1 cream the butter and cream cheese together; then add the salt and flour; mix with a fork.
- 2 make into 8 balls and refrigerate overnight.
- 3 roll out and cut into circle with a saucer.
- 4 fill with 1 tablespoons pineapple preserves; fold over in half. brush with a beaten egg .
- 5 bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
- 6 sprinkle with powered sugar, if desired.
