Pineapple Salmon Sauce

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (8 ounce) can pineapple chunks in juice (cut chunks in half or smaller)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 lemon, juice of
  • 2 -4 tablespoons butter

Recipe

  • 1 put pinapple, juice and sugar in small sauce pan.
  • 2 cook to reduce volume by 1/2.
  • 3 add soy sauce and pepper flakes.
  • 4 cook for several minutes - until sugar is disolved.
  • 5 add lemon or lime juice.
  • 6 add butter and drizzle over grilled, sauted, or baked salmon as soon as the butter melts.
  • 7 oh and of course save some pineapple for yourself.
