Pineapple Pecan Conserve

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup canned pears, drained and diced
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup liquid pectin

Recipe

  • 1 combine pineapple, pears and lemon juice.
  • 2 bring to a boil, add sugar, water, and pecans.
  • 3 simmer about 10 minutes or until pineapple and pears are translucent.
  • 4 remove from heat and stir in liquid pectin.
  • 5 pour into sterilized canning jars and seal at once.
