Nonfat Strawberry Fudge Candy

Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup preserved strawberry
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 egg whites
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
Recipe
- 1 butter 1 or 2 pans and beat the egg whites until stiff.
- 2 drain the strawberries until they are as dry as possible.
- 3 boil the sugar, water and cream of tartar to the firm ball stage (248° f).
- 4 add the strawberries.
- 5 let come to a boil again.
- 6 pour slowly, beating constantly,over the egg whites.
- 7 beat until thick and fluffy.
- 8 pour mixture into pans.
- 9 let cool and when firm cut in squares.
