Mexican Hash Browns Casserole

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (5 1/2 ounce) package frozen hash browns with onion
  • 1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chilies, drained
  • 1 cup monterey jack cheese, shredded
  • 3 tablespoons butter

Recipe

  • 1 cover potatoes with boiling water. let stand 5 minutes. drain thoroughly.
  • 2 layer half each of the potatoes, chilies, and cheese into ungreased 8x8x2-inch baking dish.
  • 3 dot with half of the butter.
  • 4 repeat with remaining ingredients.
  • 5 cover and bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
  • 6 uncover and bake until golden brown.
