Disappearing Cake

Ingredients

• Servings: 12
• 1/4 cup butter
• 1/4 cup shortening
• 2 cups sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 eggs
• 3/4 cup hershey's cocoa
• 1 3/4 cups flour
• 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
• 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/8 teaspoon salt

Recipe

• 1 cream butter, shortening, sugar and vanilla.
• 2 blend in eggs.
• 3 combine cocoa, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
• 4 add alternately with milk to batter.
• 5 blend well.
• 6 pour into well greased 9" pans.
• 7 bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in cake comes out clean.
• 8 cool.
• 9 frost with favorite frosting.
