Elsie's No Cook Strawberry Jam

Ingredients
- Servings: 24
- 3 cups strawberries, sliced
- 5 cups sugar
- 1 (2 ounce) package sure-jell
- 1 cup water
Recipe
- 1 combine berries and sugar. let stand 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 2 make pectin solution by stirring pectin in 1 c cold water and bringing it to a rapid boil for 1 minute.
- 3 remove from heat and add pectin mixture to the berries. stir for 2 minutes.
- 4 put in jars or freezable containers and leave at room temperature for 24-48 hours - then freeze. keep in freezer.
