Mexican Nuts

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 lb brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups pecan halves

Recipe

  • 1 in large saucepan mix brown sugar, cream and butter.
  • 2 bring to soft ball stage on thermometer.
  • 3 stir in vanilla.
  • 4 add pecans - stirring constantly.
  • 5 drop immediately by teaspoon fulls on waxed paper.
  • 6 let cool. store in tightly covered container.
