Strawberry Rhapsody Jam

Ingredients
- 3 cups crushed strawberries
- 1 cup crushed raspberries
- 1 cup unsweetened apple juice or 1 cup cranberry juice
- bernardin no-sugar needed fruit pectin (1 package)
- artificial sweetener (1 1/2 cups granulated sugar or 1 1/2 cups splenda sugar substitute) (optional)
Recipe
- 1 preheat mason jars and snap lids.
- 2 combine strawberries and raspberries and fruit pectin in a large deep stainless steel saucepan. whisk in fruit pectin.
- 3 if using sweetener, measure splenda or sugar and set aside. stirring constantly, bring fruit mixture to a boil over high heat. if using, add sweetener or sugar, and return mixture to a boil, stirring frequently. boil 3 minutes. remove form heat. skim foam.
- 4 ladle into hot jars.
