Marky's Blue-eyed Muffins

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 cup fresh blueberries or 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup butter
Recipe
- 1 cream the 1/4 c butter with 3 tbps sugar and 3 tbsp bown sugar until light. beat in egg.
- 2 combine the flour with the baking powder and salt in a medium bowl. add to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk until just combined. do not overmix, fold in blueberries.
- 3 spoon into prepared muffin pans, sprinkle on the topping (see step 4) and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. cool one minute before removing from pan.
- 4 for topping: combine 1/4 c brown sugar, 1/2 c flour, and 1/3 tsp cinnamon into a small bowl. cut in 1/4 c butter. spinkle over muffins before baking.
