Seminole, Baconed Hominy

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 8 strips bacon, diced
  • 2 lbs cooked hominy
  • salt and pepper
  • green onion, roughly chopped

Recipe

  • 1 in a large pan, fry the bacon pieces until browned and crisp.
  • 2 add the hominy, salt and pepper and cook stirring constantly 6-7 minutes.
  • 3 add green onions and continue cooking for 5 minutes.
  • 4 serve immediately.
