Northwoods Sauce

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces butter (1/8 #)
  • 2 ounces flour (1/8 #)
  • 1 quart heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter and mix in flour to make a roux.
  • 2 add cream and bring to a boil to thicken.
  • 3 add onion powder, nutmeg and salt and pepper.
