Ingredients
- 2 lbs sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 2 ounces butter
- 1/2 can condensed milk
Recipe
- 1 place sugar, milk, and butter into a large saucepan and bring to a slow boil.
- 2 slowly boil for 5 minutes.
- 3 add the 1/2 tin condensed milk and boil slowly for another 5 minutes.
- 4 test a teaspoon full in a cup of cold water.
- 5 if it forms at the bottom of the cup it's ready.
- 6 take off heat and beat until it thickens and is sugary.
- 7 pour into a greased tray and cut into squares.
- 8 let stand at room temp overnight.
