- 1 head cabbage, grated
- 1 bell pepper, grated
- 1 onion, grated
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon salt
Recipe
- 1 grate the cabbage, bell pepper and onion.
- 2 bring to a boil the sugar, vinegar, turmeric, mustard seeds and salt.
- 3 pour over the cabbage mixture.
- 4 chill overnight.
- 5 lasts for weeks in the refrigerator.
