Doris' Cranberry Salad

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 (3 ounce) box black cherry gelatin
- 1 (16 ounce) can whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1 cup chopped unpeeled apple (can be omitted)
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
Recipe
- 1 prepare the apples, celery, and walnuts (set aside).
- 2 combine pineapple& water in a saucepan.
- 3 heat just to boiling& add gelatin.
- 4 stir until gelatin is dissolved.
- 5 add other ingredients, stir well, and turn off burner.
- 6 pour into bowl.
- 7 chill until firm.
