Doris' Cranberry Salad

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 (3 ounce) box black cherry gelatin
  • 1 (16 ounce) can whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 cup chopped unpeeled apple (can be omitted)
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice

Recipe

  • 1 prepare the apples, celery, and walnuts (set aside).
  • 2 combine pineapple& water in a saucepan.
  • 3 heat just to boiling& add gelatin.
  • 4 stir until gelatin is dissolved.
  • 5 add other ingredients, stir well, and turn off burner.
  • 6 pour into bowl.
  • 7 chill until firm.
