Dutch Apple Crisp

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 6 apples, cored, peeled and sliced thin
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 3/4 cup oats
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted

Recipe

  • 1 toss the apples with lemon juice and put in a casserole dish.
  • 2 combine the dry ingredients for the filling and toss with apples.
  • 3 combine the topping ingredients and sprinkle over the apples.
  • 4 bake at 350 f for 45-50 minutes.
