Dutch Apple Cake

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 6 apples
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup light cream
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Recipe

  • 1 pare and slice 6 large apples
  • 2 place in buttered baking dish
  • 3 mix 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon salt anf butter
  • 4 cover apples with this mixture
  • 5 sift together flour sugar salt cinnamon baking powder
  • 6 add cream
  • 7 pour over apples
  • 8 sprinkle topping that has been mixed topgether over flour mixture
  • 9 bake in moderate oven til apples are soft and crust browned im guessing 35 minutes at 375 degrees check though.
