Sautéed Spinach And Red Peppers

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into 1/2 inch dice
  • 8 cups fresh spinach
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon sugar

Recipe

  • 1 in a large skillet, heat the oil over moderate heat.
  • 2 add the onion and garlic and sauté for 5 minutes.
  • 3 add the bell pepper and sauté for 3 minutes.
  • 4 add the spinach, sprinkle with the salt and sugar and cook, turning for 4 minutes or until the spinach is wilted.
