Dutch Apple Pie

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 5 -6 apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons flour (or more)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup raisins
  • 1 unbaked pie shell
  • 1/3 cup margarine
  • 1 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 400.
  • 2 toss apples with lemon juice.
  • 3 blend the other filling ingredients.
  • 4 add apples and raisins.
  • 5 pour into unbaked pie shell.
  • 6 topping:.
  • 7 melt margarine.
  • 8 add oats, cinnamon, and brown sugar.
  • 9 sprinkle over pie mixture and slightly press down with hands.
  • 10 bake at 400 for 40-45 minutes or until topping is brown and apples are tender.
