Dutch Apple Pie

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 6 cups apples, peeled and sliced
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 unbaked pie shell
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup margarine

Recipe

  • 1 mix sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon; add apples and toss to coat.
  • 2 place in unbaked pie crust.
  • 3 mix flour, sugars and margarine until crumbly.
  • 4 sprinkle on top of pie.
  • 5 bake at 400* for 15 minutes.
  • 6 reduce heat to 350* and bake another 30-40 minutes.
