Pink Lavender Lemonade

Ingredients

- 5 cups water
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup lavender leaves, fresh, chopped
- 1/4 cup dried hibiscus flowers
- 2 1/4 cups lemon juice
Recipe
- 1 in saucepan, combine 2 1/2 cups water with sugar and hibiscus flowers.
- 2 bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar.
- 3 simmer for a few minutes, then remove from the heat, stir in the lavender leaves, cover, and let mixture cool.
- 4 strain liquid into a large pitcher or jar, add the remaining water and lemon juice.
- 5 stir.
