Steak Balsamico

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 4 (6 ounce) flat iron steaks
- 1 1/4 teaspoons salt, divided
- 3/4 teaspoon ground pepper, divided
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 (8 ounce) package mushrooms
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
Recipe
- 1 clean and slice mushrooms. set aside.
- 2 rub steaks with 1 t salt and 1/2 t pepper.
- 3 cook steaks in hot oil in a large skillet over medium high heat for 4-5 minutes per side.
- 4 let rest on a warming platter (in oven) or near burner.
- 5 add garlic to the skillet; saute 30 seconds, stirring constantly.
- 6 add mushrooms and remaining 1/4 t salt and 1/4 t pepper, saute 3 minutes.
- 7 stir in vinegar; cook for 5 minutes, stiriing frequently.
- 8 spoon mixture over each steak.
- 9 serve immediately.
